Djokovic over Federer @ 3.50 (0,40 units) Won!YTD: 13-21-1 (-2,00 units [-6.11% ROI]). Don't think I'll be having any more action on the Australian Open. While I think Tsonga deserves more respect than he is getting from the books (fair odds of approx. 3.00 imo), I don't really see him getting over the winning line (although he can trouble him)...so not going to chance any money on this. Will update my personal thread shortly.

Decided that I was a little hasty with my decision to leave here. Obviously we haven't got the following we were hoping for by this stage of the year, but we'll see how things "develop" over the coming weeks / months. Nice work Mr. I by the way.

Thanks guys, I feel like getting on a roll.....
CLEMENT/LLODRA @ 1.66 William Hill. Both teams have performed very well so far, coming through without dropping a set. I think the French pair should be clear favourites. They are an excellent team and they have the form player in Llodra who has been excellent in both singles and doubles this year. I saw them quite a bit during Wimbledon (anyone remember that match against Mello/Sa?) and I was really impressed - they went on to win the final against the Bryans. Erlich and Ram are a good team, but I feel they will be outclassed in the final against a team with more big match experience.
IVANOVIC +5.5 games WillHill. Not sure what to say about this one, just think it will be close. Obivously Sharapova is playing extremely well and is a clear favourite, but this being a final, don't think it will be as straightforward as the odds suggest. Ivanovic too has been playing well, great win over Venus and a great comeback against Hantuchova who was playing really well. Ivanovic had a bad experience in the final of the French last year, and I expect her to be stronger in this one. H2H is 2-2 with the last two meeting being really one-sided which doesn't bode well, but I still say this one is close.

Didn't really intend to have any action on the final, but took advantage of what I consider to be a good deal...with none other than my favourite ( ) bookie: Djokovic -1.5 sets over Tsonga @ 1.77 (Unibet) (1,00 unit) Good luck Mr. I...like the look of both there! I don't think all that much about the Israeli duo, but they continue to surprise me! However, as you say, I think the French pairing are the rightful favourites in this one.

Hey everyone, hope everythings going well. Haven't found time to post, lack of sleep is uninspiring, but I have had a very enjoyable AU. All the work done in the first week for me. Time to sit back and watch the action from here. Have outright bets on Djokovic and Sharapova which should keep me more than interested. Also had around 15k green on Gasquet ---backed at 140s, which I planned to lay off at the 1/4 final stage Ah well, can't complain its been fun. One in, one to go, actually got very fortunate and manage to back Tsonga at 28/1 whilst leading Youzhny by 1 set and 3 games, from a dozy bookie who left their market open through oddschecker (always pays to be opportunistic and betdirect seem to be prone to making these sort of mistakes). So I'll actually be cheering on the Frenchman - admittidly this is terrible aftertiming by me.

TSONGA TO WIN 1ST SET @ 2.75 Ladbrokes. I don’t know what to say about Tsonga, I’ve opposed him in his last 3 matches and he’s just blown everyone away. I’m not sure he can do the same to Djokovic who was excellent against Federer, but I’m sure he’s going to come out firing. Slight concern is nerves, but I thought that would happen against Nadal in the semi and he started excellently. I think it will take Djokovic a while to figure out how to play against Tsonga, and that makes the first set a very interesting betting proposition. I’d make it 55/45 in Djokovics favour, so taking a shot at these odds. Expect Djokovic to come through eventually, but it won’t be straightforward.
