The Site.
This site was set up for the purpose of engaging in higher quality discussion of matters relating to tennis (and other sports) betting, than is offered in other online communities, where problem issues such as after-timing, slanderous remarks and member bashing is rife.
If you have ANY tennis (and other sports) knowledge you're keen to discuss with members of this forum, you're VERY welcome to join! Likewise, if you're just starting out in this business, feel free to join us for the ride!
The Rules.
1. Do not abuse fellow members - we're all working towards one common goal...to get the edge over the bookies. Inevitably, not everyone will agree with a poster's opinions/strategies etc. This is understandable, and criticism is welcomed, but only if it is made in a constructive manner.
2. Do not post slanderous comments - these relate to labelling a player a fixer, doper, tanker etc, when there is no evidence to back up these serious, and potentially libelous, accusations.
2(1). Do not insult the players - calling a player unsavoury names is totally unacceptable. If you feel you have to rant about a lost bet, please control your language and only post such comments in the "off topic" subforum or in the chat room.
3. Please avoid making contributions that aren't related to the topic in hand.
4. Quoting from other sources - if you're posting information relating to player injury, extracts from articles etc, please provide a link to the original source of the news.
5. Bets - any bets you wish to contribute should be posted before the relevant match begins. After-timing (posting a winning bet when the match is over/close to being decided) shows you up to be a coward, not a stud.
6. Analysis - everyone has a reason for betting on a match, so if you decide to post your selection, please provide some analysis. Just one sentence (more, if you have time!) is ALL we ask!
We kindly request that all members observe those rules. By doing so, you'll be making everyone's experience of this site an enjoyable one. Moderators reserve the right to suspend/terminate the accounts of members who act in serious breach of the rules (typically #1 and #2).
We may add new rules / edit existing ones, so please revisit this thread every-so-often.
Happy posting!
Tennisbetting staff.
